One of the best things about living in London. One word: SHOPS. A few of my favourite places.
1. Darkroom
Lambs Conduit Street in Bloomsbury features the most exciting independent retailers in London. Among them is Darkroom's flagship store. Inside you will find products displaying graphic contrasts, the geometry found in tribal patterns and the structural simplicity of modern and postmodern design.
2. Anthropologie
I literally can't walk past this place when I'm in King's Road, Chelsea. It is like stepping into another world. A world where you literally want everything you clap your eyes on.
3. Magma
Design Junkie Heaven with amazing selection of books and magazines in Covent Garden's Seven Dials. Grab a fresh brew at Monmouth Coffee after inspiration overload.
4. Skandium
Temple of Scandinavian Design on Brompton Road. Visit here after Victoria & Albert Museum, just across the road.
5. Liberty
The Grand Dame of London - 140 years old this year. There's a reason why. The place keeps reinventing itself without losing its heritage. I love walking up the creaking old staircase to the top floor.
